The San Bernardino county Jural Society, established on November 19, AD 2024, and fully settled on the land and soil of San Bernardino county on February 20, AD 2025, acknowledges that our efforts to restore de jure governance are grounded in recognition of divine authority and biblical principles. While our primary focus is the peaceful reassembly of the People to reclaim lawful self-governance under the original California Constitution of 1849 and American common law, we affirm the following core beliefs as foundational to our work and worldview:
- One God, the Creator
- We believe in the one true God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them (Genesis 1:1; John 1:1-3). All legitimate authority flows from Him, and human governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed under His sovereign will (Romans 13:1).
- The Bible as Authoritative
- We hold the Holy Scriptures (the Bible) to be the inspired, infallible Word of God, serving as the ultimate guide for faith, morality, and righteous living. Biblical law and natural law, as revealed in Scripture, inform our understanding of justice, mercy, and the inalienable rights endowed by our Creator (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Micah 6:8).
- Humanity Created in God’s Image
- Every living man and woman is created in the image of God, possessing inherent dignity, unalienable rights to life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness. These rights are God-given and not granted by any man-made government or corporation (Genesis 1:27; Declaration of Independence).
- Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
- We confess Jesus Christ as Lord, the only begotten Son of God, who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Him alone (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9).
- Call to Justice, Mercy, and Humility
- As stewards of God’s creation, we are called to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God (Micah 6:8). This includes defending the oppressed, upholding righteousness in governance, and acting as salt and light in the world (Matthew 5:13-16; Isaiah 1:17).
- One Nation Under God
- We labor toward a society aligned with biblical principles, where lawful governance reflects God’s natural and moral law, ensuring freedom, accountability, and prosperity for the People. Our jural assembly seeks to embody the biblical model of community elders and assemblies administering justice in truth and equity.
We hold that God’s law, as revealed in Scripture and confirmed by reason and conscience, is the highest standard of justice. The maxims “Do no harm to another,” “Cause no loss,” and “Keep the peace” are direct expressions of this divine law applied to civil society.
The American common law we seek to restore has historically drawn from these same biblical principles, providing due process and protection of God-given rights through trial by jury, the law of the land.
Membership requires no specific religious belief beyond agreement to live peaceably and honorably under God’s moral law as expressed in the maxim: “Do no harm, cause no loss, and accept no fraud.” We welcome all who respect the equal God-given rights of others, regardless of personal faith or lack thereof.
We reject all coercion in matters of conscience, for as it is written: “So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.” (James 2:12)
This Statement of Faith guides our principles and actions as we peacefully restore de jure governance in San Bernardino county. We are not a church or denomination but a lawful assembly of living people committed to honoring God in our pursuit of liberty and self-governance.
We invite those who share these convictions to join us in prayer, education, and lawful action to secure these blessings for ourselves and our posterity.
In peace, honor, and reverence toward Almighty God,
San Bernardino county Jural Society
On the land and soil of California state
